In der ersten Szene sehen wir, wie Gott der Vater Eva aus der Seite des schlafenden Adam f\u00fcr ihn als Braut erschafft. Die H\u00e4nde Evas\u00a0 sind leer, in Anbetung zu Gott erhoben. In der unteren Szene sieht man, wie Gott Vater die Kirche als neue Eva und Braut aus der Seite Jesu Christi, des neuen Adams, erschafft, nachdem Christus am Kreuz entschlafen ist. Aus der Seite Christi flossen das Wasser der Taufe und das kostbare Blut der Eucharistie, das die Braut im Kelch in ihren H\u00e4nden h\u00e4lt und damit dem Vater opfert. Rechts im Bild sind die Nachkommen des neuen Adams und der neuen Eva zu sehen, die Heiligen: Augustinus (mit Mitra), Benedikt, Dominikus und Franziskus.
