Aber die Bildaussage widerspricht vollkommen dieser Auffassung. Das Wort Resignation kommt aus dem Lateinischen und bedeutet urspr\u00fcnglich nach verlorener Schlacht die Feldzeichen zu senken, sich zu ergeben.<\/p>\n<p>In der christlichen Mystik hat es die Bedeutung, dass der Mensch nicht mehr eigenwillig k\u00e4mpft, sondern sich gelassen in den Willen Gottes ergibt.
