Am ersten Tag in Lourdes war ich entt\u00e4uscht, weil der Ort mir mehr vorkam wie ein kommerzieller Betrieb als wie ein Heiligtum. Es war 1970 und wir als junge Priester waren angesteckt vom Klima des Protests, das damals herrschte.<\/p>\n<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag schickten mich die Organisatoren der Wallfahrt zur Beichtkapelle: nach 5 Stunden, in denen ich S\u00fcnden vergeben, vor allem aber die wunderbaren Bekehrungen zahlreicher Menschen geh\u00f6rt hatte, verstand ich, dass es Maria war, die ihre Herzen ber\u00fchrt hatte: eine geistliche Erneuerung begann in mir zu wirken. Ich bin seitdem oft nach Lourdes zur\u00fcckgekehrt, und ich hatte immer das gleiche Gef\u00fchl: Maria f\u00fchrt uns zu ihrem Sohn Jesus.
