Klara betreut wird. Mit der Statue, die die Grotte beherbergt, hat es eine besondere Bewandtnis. Sie wurde bald nach den Erscheinungen Mariens (1858) nach Angaben der hl. Bernadette hergestellt und als erste Statue in der Erscheinungsgrotte aufgestellt. Sie erwies sich aber als zu klein und man hat sie durch eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere ersetzt. Diese erste Statue wurde sp\u00e4ter Papst Pius IX. zum Geschenk gemacht. Papst Leo XIII. \u00fcbergab sie der frommen Gr\u00e4fin Raczinski von Bregenz &#8211; Marienberg als Zeichen besonderen Wohlwollens. 1888 wurde diese Statue in die neu errichtete Kapelle feierlich \u00fcbertragen. Jedes Jahr findet am 11.
