Jung wies auf eine Nachbildung des K\u00f6nigsfelder Glasfensters hin, das die Kreuzigung Christi darstellt, und sagte:<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Sehen Sie, das ist doch das Entscheidende f\u00fcr uns.&#8220; Als der Theologe ihn fragte, warum er das sage, antwortete Jung: &#8222;Ich komme gerade aus Indien, da ist mir dies von neuem aufgegangen. Der Mensch muss mit dem Problem des Leidens fertig werden.<br \/>\nDer \u00f6stliche Mensch will sich des Leidens entledigen, indem er das Leiden abstreift. Der abendl\u00e4ndische Mensch versucht, das Leiden durch Drogen zu unterdr\u00fccken.<br \/>\nAber das Leiden muss \u00fcberwunden werden, und \u00fcberwunden wird es nur, indem man es tr\u00e4gt.
